What is the typical design process for a bespoke yacht?

How long does it take to construct a custom Komodo yacht?

Vessels under 50 metres generally take 24 to 36 months. Superyachts over 60 metres with extensive bespoke features may need 36 to 48 months, from keel laying to delivery and sea trials.

What are the payment terms?

Typically about 20% down to secure the build slot and begin detailed design, then milestone payments for hull, superstructure, engine installation and interior fit-out, with a final payment on delivery.
